KIM-CHI& CHAL-KAK

The black-and-white painting series KIM-CHI(2024) depicts characters from the animation gathered with an indifferent presence. This work is connected to the RGB Highway trilogy, extending the animated figures into a painterly form.

All the characters in the painting have no visible eyes, making their expressions unreadable. In previous works, figures appeared with blank blue eyes, whereas in this piece, they wear sunglasses. Though they share the same space, they remain distant, coexisting without revealing their emotions.
